1.Spend a day at Noosa’s beaches

You can rest, relax, and recover as any of Noosa’s beaches offer patrolling year-round so you and your family will always feel safe.
Head down to Noosa Main Beach and soak up that summer feeling with your family. Noosa Main Beach is the perfect spot to bask in the water, chill out under your cabana and enjoy an entire day by the ocean.
If you are wanting to take up surfing with the family, further down the beach you’ll find the less crowded waters past the break wall. With calm waves and clear water, it’s the perfect place to learn to surf. Hire a board from a local beach vendor or take a professional lesson with Noosa’s Learn to Surf.
2.Go Christmas shopping on Hastings Street
Hastings Street offers a range of women’s, men’s and kids clothing, homewares and gifts. You’ll find so many last-minute gifts this Christmas in Noosa.

3.Visit Hastings Streets Christmas events
There is plenty to do in Noosa this Christmas, a family favourite will be watching the festivities in the iconic Hastings Street. This year you will find the street filled with roaming street performers, acrobats, and live music every night from the 16th to the 19th of December. Visitors of all ages are invited to celebrate the many Christmas events that Hastings Street has to offer this 2021 Christmas.
Santa will be making an appearance right in the heart of Noosa from the 16th to 23rd of December! You can have your family photos with him at the beach from 9am to 11am directly in front of the Noosa Heads Surf Club. We do recommend booking as Santa’s beach hut is a crowd favorite. If you can’t make this photo opportunity, take a family picture in front of the light filled Christmas tree located at the primary roundabout on Hastings Street.

4.Go to the Eumundi Christmas Markets
If you love everything Christmas, the Eumundi Twilight Christmas Markets are for you! The original Eumundi Markets are one of Queensland’s, and Australia’s, most famous markets. Home to around 500 stalls selling a variety of local delights from arts, produce, and fashion. It is on the to-do list of every holidaymaker. Imagine all that, but under the stars and around unlimited festivities.
This December 17th is the Eumundi Christmas Twilight Markets, starting at 5pm. There will be live music, kids’ entertainment, and a special visit from Santa. With artesian markets and local food stalls, there is plenty of last-minute Christmas shopping to do!

5.Visit the Peregian Beach Christmas Carols
Pack a picnic rug and head down to Peregian park on the 22nd of December for the 57th year of Christmas carols in the park. This classic event is not one to miss. With jumping castles, face painting, and local market stalls – there is so much family fun entertainment.
It’s only $10 per family for a warm summer evening of local musicians and choirs to spread the festive spirit. With a special visit from Santa and his elves on the beach, the kids will be spoilt for entertainment.
You can choose to bring along a packed picnic or there will be local food stalls to enjoy. Only a short 10-minute drive from Noosa, this event will be one for the family memories.
