Are you taking part in the Noosa Summer Swim 2023? There’s still time to cram in some last-minute practice and to book your accommodation! This is a must do or see event for budding swimmers, or those who want to immerse themselves in a festival atmosphere.

The Noosa Summer Swim is on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February and all swim courses start and finish at Noosa Main Beach in front of the famous Surf Life Saving Club.

Although this year’s event site is for swimmers only, supporters and spectators have plenty of options whilst waiting for swim participants to finish. Get a view of the swimmers from Hastings Street beachside restaurants or from the Noosa National Park and Little Cove Beach.

This super Sunday of swims welcomes a diverse range of abilities – from first timers to seasoned swimmers. The five swim courses are:

Junior Giants (300m)

The Junior Giants swim is for 8 – 16-year old’s, offering a great opportunity for young people to compete with swimmers their own age. Parents and guardians are allowed in the event site to support their child.

Noosa 1.0 (Short Course)

The calm and protected waters of Noosa Main Beach are brilliant for all abilities, so this short course is an idyllic first event swim.

Noosa 2.0 (Long Course)

This is the most popular course that takes swimmers out and back from Main Beach towards the Noosa National Park.

Noosa 3.0 (Long Course)

For those wanting a new challenge, the 3km course could be your next training goal. This course is an extra lap of the 2km course.

Noosa 5.0 (Marathon)

Who’s ready for the long course? This multi-lap course around the protected waters of Noosa Main Beach will push participants’ limits beyond the usual open water distances.
